"We had an incredible experience at Sorekara. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was absolutely amazing! As someone who has dined at Michelin-starred restaurants, I can confidently say that Sorekara truly deserves three stars. What stood out the most were the personal touches — from the engaging conversations with the chef and staff to the thoughtful gesture of the chef personally giving us dog treats and a dog toy to take home, inspired by the chef’s beloved dog, Uni. We also loved learning about the story behind the restaurant and how each decoration has its own unique meaning. Every detail reflected care, creativity, and heart. We can’t wait to come back!"
"I am writing to share what an absolutely amazing experience my brothers and I had at Sokera this past August. We visited for my birthday, and it remains one of the most unique, informative, and delicious dining experiences I have ever had. Everything about the evening was exceptional, from the simplistic yet elegant environment to the incredible service. While we visited all the Disney parks during our trip, the real magic for us was found at Sokera. I specifically want to thank Jason for the outstanding drink pairings and the fascinating information provided with each selection. Tracy was an incredible host in every way, and Chef William’s culinary work was truly remarkable. Please also extend our gratitude to the rest of the staff who contributed to such a memorable evening. It was a dining experience we will be talking about for years to come. Thank you all for making my birthday so special."
"We have been able to try various Omakase type chef selection restaurants throughout Asia and Europe. It is not the normal go to food choice for us but with that said for anyone who wants to experience something like this, Sorekara has put a lot of thought into making this place on par with some of the best around. The whole thing lasted just north of 4 hours (probably a bit too long) and I can not count the total number of small dish plates that were put before us. For the 5 or so home run small plates I always wish I could have a bit more to eat. Like I said this is not a normal type of dinning experience we prefer but for that special occasion Orlando is lucky to have Sorekara in our ever growing unique restaurant scene."
"Dining at Sorekara was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first bite to the last subtle detail, every element of the meal was executed with remarkable precision and heart. This wasn't just dinner, it was a beautifully orchestrated experience that left a lasting impression. My husband and I were there celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary, and it could not have been a more perfect place to mark the occasion. The food was simply incredible. Each course was meticulously crafted, showcasing deep respect for ingredients and a brilliant sense of balance and creativity. It was evident that every dish was the result of passion and mastery in the kitchen. The staff played a huge role in making the night unforgettable. Chef Will's vision shines through every plate, and Pastry Chef Francesco's desserts were an elegant finale that matched the meal's high standard. Sommelier Jason helped us select the perfect sake to accompany the meal, Tracy, Austin, Eugene, and Josue were all warm, professional, and knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness without ever feeling intrusive. A special mention goes to Uni, the chef’s dog, who added a charming and unexpected personal touch to the evening. It’s rare to find a place where every detail, from the food to the people to the atmosphere, feels so deeply considered and genuine. Sorekara is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience."
"If you are reading this; hesitant, intrigued, curious, or even on the fence in regards to experiencing this resturant, hear me out for a minute! Our lives are constantly in a flux of good days, bad days, busy days, or just plain exhausting days. Time keeps spinning around us, but one constant can always be there to make you a bit happier through it all.... Food! Food can be something that can bring us all together and have a great time enjoying it! This is where Sorekara comes in... Sorekara is hands down, without question, to this date, one of the best eating 'Experiences' I have ever had. Time litteraly slows, your senses are highetened, and before the night is over you will litteraly question how long you have actually been there or even if it was the same day you visited. Now... To the point. Sorekara is a chefs table tasting experience. The ingredients are the best of the best, nothing artificial. All of which get weaved into unique tasting offerings than span 20 courses (in our selection). The range of flavors and how everything was arranged in the order they came out in was truly a artform in itself. If you have read any of my reviews I typically ALWAYS have numerous pictures of everything I eat. However, because of the wishes from the chef, and staff, which I do agree with, I have not done that here. The reason for this is because your journey here will be at its best if you just go in blind. The staff and service here are truly a huge part of why this resturant shines. Observant, reactive, and most definitely adaptive. Every team member knew not only their role, but everyone else's role. On top of this, the communication between each other guarenteed your night went well. To summarize, I have left this review vary vague on purpose. The time you took to read this I hope proves fruitful because Sorekara is a experience you do NOT want to miss. Yes, it can be pricey for some, but I will say you will also NOT regret the experience in the least. I can safely say this Resturant deserves it's current Two Star Michelin rating and applaud the chefs, owner, and team. We hope to return soon!"
"The place to start for this restaurant is the fact that the Service is impeccable. When entering the fine dining space, this is what you are paying for. It is also obvious from the start the amount of care and attention the chef and his team put into the dishes they create and the stories they want to tell with them. I particularly appreciate the Sommelier’s attention to detail in his non alcoholic pairing options. The alcohol option is also always phenomenal but it’s nice to see the same attention to detail for those who may not be able to or choose not to consume alcohol. This is an amazing experience you won’t regret and remains one of my husband and i’s favorite places to dine."
"Participated in the Sorekara Chirashi Box event offered on Jan. 11, 2026. This was a box to go from Orlando's own two-star Michelin restaurant. Upon arriving home with this wonderful treasure, we opened it up to find a cornucopia of delectable seafood and accoutrements. I am an uni lover and the uni incorporated into this box was the sweetest, tastiest that I have ever had! I am looking forward to the next Sorekara Chirashi Box experience!"
"Sorekara was nothing shy of a Bolshoi Ballet experienced with absolutely flawless food and beverage pairings. The staff showed incredible levels of preparation, down to details of the artists who crafted the dishware, history of painters, and every step of the process to create the wine and sake offered. The team's movement with and around each other showed extensive practice and knowledge of each seating, each other, and food timing. The layout of the restaurant was delicately mapped for the flow of the evening and each room was meticulously designed to provide an atmosphere that matched the courses provided in that setting. The music changed in each room as well to perfectly complement that specific moment of the experience. This was nothing short of a world class experience and I am thrilled to have been a part of it."
